Royalties for Regions

Broome CRC receives funding from Royalties for Regions, via a contract with the Department of Primary Industries & Regional Development. This contract provides our core funding and assists us to provide our wide range of services to our community.

Broome CRC is grateful to have received a number of grants during 2021/22 and 2022/23 that enable us to continue providing high quality services to the community:

  • Department of Primary Industries & Regional Development – Technology & Innovation Grant for 3D scanning equipment

  • Kimberley Community Grants Scheme (Water Corporation and Lions Club of Broome) – 3D printer and scanning equipment, and contribution to our relocation and new premises fit-out

  • Shire of Broome – 3D printer and scanning equipment, and contribution to our relocation to new premises

  • Good Things Foundation and Be Connected – Building Digital Skills Grant Round for new laptops and videoconference equipment upgrades 

  • Good Things Foundation and Be Connected – Digital Devices Grant for tablets to loan to the over 50s

  • Horizon Power Community Partnerships Program – contribution to our new premises fit-out
