Royalties for Regions

Broome CRC receives funding from Royalties for Regions, via a contract with the Department of Primary Industries & Regional Development. This contract provides our core funding and assists us to provide our wide range of services to our community.

Broome CRC is grateful to have received a number of grants during 2020 that enable us to continue providing high quality services to the community, and to maintain our operations during the particularly challenging economic climate of COVID-19:

  • INPEX-operated Ichthys LNG joint venture – Community Sponsorship and Investment Program, for a high-speed multi-function printer and accessories

  • Woodside – COVID-19 Community Fund, for a high-speed multi-function printer and toner supplies

  • Good Things Foundation and Be Connected – Building Digital Skills Grant for equipment upgrades, new computers and peripherals

  • Good Things Foundation and Be Connected – Digital Devices Grant for tablets to loan to the over 50s

  • Kimberley Community Grants Scheme (Water Corporation and Lions Club of Broome) – COVID-19 Community Relief Fund, towards rent and wages

Linkwest

Broome CRC receives support services from Linkwest, the peak body for Neighbourhood and Community Resource Centres.
